At a sheriff's civil corruption prosecution, a former manager of a Silicon Valley security firm claimed that he and the CEO of the company had agreed to exchange concealed weapons permits for political donations.According to the Mercury News, he explained how he was entrusted with finding a way to obtain concealed-carry permits for AS Solutions security agents who were assigned to high-profile customers. The action was taken in response to a shooting that took place in San Bruno, California, in 2018, leaving three people injured before the shooter committed suicide.
