The slow-moving low-pressure system off the coast of California will continue to ferry cold, overcast weather toward the Bay Area on Thursday. Some residents might get only brief glimpses of the sun over the next couple of days. But weather models signal a shift in the atmosphere that could chip away at the weather pattern, making way for sunnier — and warmer — conditions in parts of the region as early as Friday afternoon. ‘May Gray' break Inland cities like Santa Rosa and Walnut Creek will see the ebb and flow of the marine layer's clouds on Thursday.
