Public transportation in the Bay Area will be available on Memorial Day, albeit with a few caveats. Should you find yourself traveling, The Examiner has compiled a list of what each agency's service will look like in observance of the holiday. BART The Bay Area's largest public transportation system will run a Sunday schedule during Memorial Day. Trains will operate from around 8 a.m. until midnight. All lines will be in service until 9 p.m. After that, the agency will run three-line (Yellow, Blue, and Orange) service.
