Kaiser Permanente, confronted with a massive nationwide strike that includes 23,000 Bay Area workers, has shut a number of out-patient pharmacies across the region. The strike over under-staffing, wages and other issues is set for three days, but the union coalition representing workers noted Wednesday that workers had voted to stop work for up to 10 days.
